Prevention & Education: 2014

• Boys & Girls Club of Huntington County, $2,850 for each the Smart Moves programs in Huntington & Warren, a program that promotes positive behaviors, health, well-being and personal success.

• Huntington North High School, $2,400 for Freshman Mentoring, a program that pairs older students with incoming freshmen to help them make a smooth transition to high school.

•Huntington Sheriff’s Department: $2,632 for Camp HERO

• Huntington University Social Work Department, $350 for Spring Family Festival to help promote a positive family event, which will be alcohol, tobacco & drug free.

• Boys & Girls Club of Huntington County, $390 for VOICE, a youth program designed to educate the community about the dangers of tobacco.
